Who we are

Behind the Creator is a business owned and run by David Goldman, based in Florida, USA. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Behind the Creator. You can reach us at david@behindthecreatorhq.com.

When you apply

The only form on this site is the creator application. When you submit it, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your main platform
• Your handle or a link to your channel or profile
• Your niche or topic
• Your audience size range
• Whether you already have a community
• What you want help with
• Why you are applying now

When you email us

If you write to us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Technical information

Like any website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider (Netlify) whose servers automatically process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media trackers or tracking cookies on this site. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page does not send your information to a font provider.

How we use your information

• To review your application.
• To contact you about your application by email, phone or text message.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To keep the site and the form secure and free of spam.

We use your information only for these purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Phone and text messages

Because the application asks for your phone number, we may contact you by phone or text about your application. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. If you would rather not be contacted by phone or text, tell us in your reply or email david@behindthecreatorhq.com and we will stop.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run this site and read your application:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores form submissions through Netlify Forms. Netlify screens submissions for spam using Akismet. Netlify then sends a copy of each application to David by email. You can read Netlify's privacy policy.
• Our email provider delivers and stores the emails we send and receive, including application notifications.

If you choose to talk with us on a Google Meet call or receive a Loom video, those services handle your information under their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep application details for as long as we need them to review your application and follow up with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing david@behindthecreatorhq.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will respond to requests as those laws require.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
