Accessibility Statement

Behind the Creator wants everyone to be able to use behindthecreatorhq.com and apply to work with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and people with motor, cognitive or other disabilities.

What we have done

• Built the site with clear headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link.
• Made every link, button, menu and form field usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Given every form field a visible label, marked required fields and added error messages that screen readers announce.
• Checked text and background colors for sufficient contrast.
• Added text alternatives to meaningful images and hidden purely decorative ones from screen readers.
• Respected your device's "reduce motion" setting and added a button to pause the moving banner.
• Allowed the page to be zoomed and resized without losing content.

The site does not include video or audio content. If we share a video with you during the application process, such as a Loom, just ask and we will provide captions or a written summary.

Known limitations

We review the site ourselves against WCAG 2.1 AA. Some parts of our process use services run by other companies, such as Google Meet, Loom and Skool. We cannot control how accessible those services are, but we are happy to offer an alternative, such as email, whenever one of them does not work for you.

If the application form does not work for you, you can email us the same details instead and we will review your application the same way.

We take accessibility feedback seriously and will do our best to fix problems and respond as soon as we can.
